This weekend dad took me on a caltrain adventure one afternoon. It was super fun! We ate lunch on the train, looked out the window a lot, and on the way back we got to ride on top of the double-decker train! I highly recommend this mode of transportation.

Today I went to lunch and the movie theater for the first time! I loved it! Mom and I saw Bolt, a Disney movie about a dog who is in the movies:> Before going into the theater I kept asking mom about getting popcorn at the popcorn store. Mom thought I would really like popcorn and bought a medium bag (which could feed about 10 people). However when we sat down and mom handed me some popcorn I turned to her and said “I don’t like popcorn” and just sat with four pieces in my lap the entire movie. Mom was a little worried about what I would do when the lights went out and the sound was loud but I was fine and quiet the entire movie. I definitely want to do this again!!!

Yesterday we went to Half Moon Bay to celebrate the New Year. It was really cold, but we bundled up…and at least it was sunny! After visiting the cliffs and the Ritz, we went out to lunch. The restaurant had a fish tank, and I could barely eat my lunch because I was so excited and distracted by the excitement of sitting so close to fish!

To celebrate New Years Day we headed to our traditional Half Moon Bay for some beach walking and lunch. It actually was a nice sunny day there! In the spirit of the New Year mom and dad asked Paige and I what our New Year’s resolutions were…so here are mine…

1. To be a better cutter with my scissors

2. To count to 100

3. To no longer have a top on my cup (MOM!!!!-I think she needs to get over it…I am a big boy and can TOTALLY drink without a top:>)

4. Stay healthy and happy

5. To continue to love school

7. To continue to be a good friend and brother

We hope you have a great New Year! We look forward to what ‘09 has in store for us…I will turn 4 and Paige will turn 2. We have many adventures ahead of us so stay tuned and we always love to hear from you!!!!

Sure Drew may be having a blast building things with his new tinker toys, but I’ve been having even more fun playing with the tinker toy box!

We took down our Christmas tree today. I was just as serious putting up the Christmas tree ornaments as I was taking them down.

The #1 thing I wanted from Santa was a new stomp rocket, and Santa brought me one! i spent the whole morning the day after Christmas playing with it. First Paige and I played together (I was pretty reluctant to share with her), and then I launched rockets over and over again into my neighbor Maggie’s yard. Check out the videos below…one is of me launching one right into my face. Whoops!

Drew got a new bike, and I got a new car for Christmas. I love riding in it…it’s just like Trevor’s, with a trunk in the front for storing all of my important stuff like crackers and my doll. I’ve been crusing around the neighborhood all week. Beep beep!

I got a new bike for Christmas and have been having tons of fun riding it around the ‘hood! Watch out for the midnight rider!

Aunt Tracy gave me Tinker Toys for Christmas and boy we are having so much fun building things with them! Last night dad and I made a ferris wheel. The day before we made a windmill…and yes we got both to actually go around. Thanks Aunt Tracy…these are so much FUN!

Although our trip to Modesto was short (because most of us were sick and needed to go home) I had a great time playing with my cousin Serafina. We went on a mission using these wind-up flashlights our dads got in their stockings to search for bows Serafina had gotten from Santa. We searched high and low and never found them. But we had a great time playing together!!!

I was a little grumpy at Grandmas (I was overwhelmed by the whole day and not feeling great) but did have fun opening more presents and seeing everyone! Again my favorite thing to do there was to look out the window for their dog, Amber:>

This year I was really into Santa. I was shocked to come out in the living room and find all these gifts. I loved opening presents!!! Some of the things I got this year were, a bike, construction set, Little Einstein rocket and globe, a stomp rocket, books, cars, tanograms, and a talking cash register. WOW…this Santa thing is great!!!

Can you say “baby”? Santa must of known my love for dolls. I got at least three babies and many accessories for them. I LOVE them all and play with them non-stop. I also got some books, dress-up clothes, My Little Ponies, doctor set, cash register, Elmo laptop, a dollhouse and a push buggy (which I have been DYING for-my friend Trevor has one and I have been so jealous!). I was a little overwhelmed by all the presents and chaos but after the paper and bows were cleared I was happy going to each toy and testing them all out!
