On Sunday the snow had stopped and the road conditions up to Bear Valley were a little better so we headed back to the snow park to do some tubing before we headed home (dad and Matt still had to put chains on…good work dads!). We practically had the whole place to ourselves and had a great time! Nothing beats going down in a tube really fast! Hopefully dad will posts some more videos of us tubing.

“Weeeee”

With all the fun in the snow one can get REALLY tired. Here we are having a little down time. The cabin had a great play/rec room downstairs where we could get away from the parentals:>

Look at our wonderful Snowman/Snowgirl:>

Trevor and I probably spent several hours playing air hockey! It was a lot of fun!

Here we are all ready to hit the snow. Only one mom and dad did not get in his snowsuit was Peter (like Paige when she was little, he was not a big fan of the cold snow).

Connor!

Lizzy and Peters mom found a great idea to use water bottles and fill them up with food coloring and water to make the snow pretty! This was great fun! Thanks for the great idea Mary!

And who can resist making a perfect Snow Angel picture in fresh snow!

On Friday and Saturday we found a great sledding area right by our cabin and we also hit the resorts driving range for some super duper sledding!!!

I like to throw in my roller coaster “hands up” move:>

Trevor and Lizzy

This weekend we headed back to Arnold and Bear Valley to have some more fun in the snow. This time we went with our friends, Trevor, Connor, Lizzy and Peter! And did we ever see snow! It snowed all day Saturday!!!

Today I had my first swim lesson without mom in the pool with me:> I am such a BIG girl (can you believe I turn 3 next Friday!). I LOVED swim lessons!!! After all these years of watching my brother at swim lessons I was SO ready to show off my swimming skills!!!
Just call me a little fish!

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. Mom and dad have been busy staying up with me and catering to my feverish needs. Yes, fever…I got as high as 104.3 on Tuesday night!!! Since Monday morning I have been battling high fevers till Thursday morning…then lower ones till now. This morning I developed a rash and mom came to the conclusion I have roseola. This virus makes you have a high fever for several days and then break out in a rash at the end of the fever (Drew had this twice when he was little). No other symptoms. I even went to the doctor on Wednesday and she told mom not to really worry until my fever gets to 106 or other symptoms come up (mom thought 104 was bad enough!). But I am on a mends and need to get my rest because next weekend we are heading back to the snow with our friends and I don’t want to miss this trip! I’ll keep you updated on my progress and hope I can attend my first swim lesson without mom this week (I am sure there will be pics of that):> Fingers crossed this is the end of my sickness and mom and dad can get some rest and post some wonderful events in our lives:>
