Some pictures from various family events in May…

We took Drew to Santa Cruz today. We attempted to go to the boardwalk, but there was no parking there so we ended up at the wharf. It was fun – the only downside was that there wasn’t much shade, which made walking around difficult; and there weren’t any benches at the beach, which made feeding him difficult. Drew saw his first seal and his first lighthouse, but he wasn’t too interested. The ride into Santa Cruz took about 2.5 hours but Drew slept the entire way. We made it back in about 35 minutes and he cried half the way…I guess we got lucky.

We went to our friend’s wedding in San Francisco this weekend. I’d like to say Drew was the hit of the party, but I think that title is reserved for the bride. Drew came in a close second.

Drew met my friend Danica recently. Thanks to Danica (and I suppose Mark too) Drew will have yet another friend this summer!

Congratulations to Ange and Joe on the arrival of Devin! The two are clearly already good friends.
