Aunt Colleen came to visit Drew this weekend. We’re pretty sure Drew tired her out more than she tired out Drew, but regardless they both seemed to have a lot of fun together.

We’ve been saying that every time we turn around lately Drew is up to something new. Well, it happened again – this time it was Sunday afternoon – we put him down and the next thing we knew he was standing! Of course, he is using something to pull himself up, but it’s pretty amazing how quickly he is learning new things. Here are two pics we took of him in his crib that night after we put him down to go to bed.

Too cute! Drew is the shark, Nicholas is Tigger and Serafina is Eyore. Serafina and Nicholas managed to keep their costumes on for a good amount of time. But Drew, couldn’t handle it and had to have it off after about 15 minutes. Happy 2nd Birthday Serafina!

As you know my cousin Serafina had her 2nd birthday party this weekend and we were able to dress up in our Halloween costumes! So I came in my shark costume and my mom and Aunt Colleen decided to be part of my squad. My mom came as a Lifeguard and my Aunt Colleen came as a shark victim. (My dad was in NY on a business trip and was sad to miss this party). Anyway had a grand ol time and my costume was a hit.

Easton: “Drew, I told you, Super Groover is the best book, do I need to knock some sense into you?” Drew: “Alright, I still think Moby Dick is a classic, dude it has a huge whale in it, it is highly intellectual.”

So I had another playdate with Easton today while his mom went to the doctor. Our other buddy Jacob has been sick so we haven’t seen him all week. We are hoping to chill with him next week. Anyway, Easton and I had a grand ol time today, you know, did the play thing. But I also have a lot going on this weekend. My Aunt Colleen is coming to visit us in MDR and then on Saturday we are heading to Irvine to celebrate my cousin Serafinas 2nd birthday. We get to dress up in our Halloween costumes for the big birthday bash. I hope I don’t scare them with my shark costume. Drew was caught red handed! Drew loves to crawl to things and pull himself up or open drawers and then when you catch him he gives you the “what, I’m not doing anything” look. This was in his closet and he is trying to pull himself up on his shelves. What I didn’t get (in pic) was him taking out all his shoes.
