I went for a bike ride to the pier today. Dad made me wear my helmet because we didn’t start at the beach like usual – this time we had to ride a few blocks on the street.

- Play in the sprinklers (I had played once with a hose at my cousins’ house)

- See Barry Bonds hit a homerun
- Have my name put on the jumbo-tron
- Pet a horse and visit the barn
- Swim in Palace pond (Gram and Pap’s pool!)

- Go out to eat with my cousins (you should have us – let’s just say we got everyone’s attention)
- Meet Aunt Tracy’s dogs
- Hang out in 114 degree weather…did I mention play in the sprinklers?
You can see all the pictures from my trip here.
I go to gym class every week with mom. I love it, and mom likes it too because it helps me get all my energy out! Dad got to come today too because he’s on vacation this week. Here’s me workin’ out. Check out the guns.

Have you ever been in 114 degree heat? I have. It was the hottest day in Modesto history. Anything over 110 I find to be just plain uncomfortable. Mom and dad make me stay inside all day. So what do you do when it gets that hot? Well that’s obvious…run through the sprinklers!!! I love it and it sure does help me cool down.

I went to see aunt Tracy’s horse at the barn yesterday. it was pretty cool, I mean yeeehaw ‘lil fellar! I petted the pony and the horse, talked to the donkey and chased the duck! I also got drive the tractor and play in the hay. Here’s some pics of me, don’t I look like a real life cowboy? I’m a natural.

I went to Aunt Tracy and Uncle Chris’ yesterday to play with the dogs…they have four! I was there to meet Charlie Brown who is a little guy (he only weighs 5 pounds) but he was kind of hyper and kept jumping on me. I thought it was funny at first but then I started to cry. After that they brought in Caden. She’s a big white dog – I liked her because she is calm and left me alone and let me pet her.

I went to my first Giants game today….More later, I have to go to bed now. Go Giants!
As I am approaching my 16th month birthday on Friday I would like to share with you my extended vocabulary I have been working on these past 16 months. :>
Words I can say and attempt to say are: car, clock (and point to the clock), cracker, squirrel, eye (and point right into moms eye), dad (use to be dadda but somewhere along the way it has shortened), and outside.
Mom is working on the “b” and “m” sound with me so I can say “mama” and “ball” correctly:>
You may have noticed a lot of pictures from the beach lately. Sorry if it’s getting kind of repetitive, but what can I say? It’s how I spend my time these days. Mom and dad take me there a lot (with sunscreen on of course) because I really like it there – it’s a giant sandbox! It wears me out and cheers me up when I’m grouchy, so you’ll probably see more pictures from there. I went twice today – ate breakfast and lunch there! I also think I go so much because mom and dad like going too.
Here’s a pic of me this evening. Mom says I’ll work in that building one day.
