October 2006

I went trick or treating with mom and dad tonight, and even though I refused to put on my lion costume, we sure did have fun! I was in a silly mood: laughing and smiling the entire time. Mom and dad say I will trick or treat next year and my sister will just come along for the ride. Happy Halloween!

Today dads work, Yahoo!, had a Ya-Boo party. Some of dads co-workers dressed up and some of them brought their kids. I brought my lion outift but did not want to wear it (mom knows for next year..nothing on my head!!!). I was a little overwhelmed and didn’t know what to think of everybody dressed up, but I had fun. It was totally decked out for Halloween! Ya-Boo!

Mom and dad took me to the beach this afternoon. We had fun!

When I was visiting grandma’s last month I went to the park with my cousins and they taught me how to slide. I love it! Now I’m brave enough to do it on my own. Here are a few pics, plus a video of my sliding at the local park.

Today I had my Halloween Party at my house with the kids in my playgroup. I was suppose to be a lion…

But I wouldn’t have it so mom made me a baseball fan (Go Giants!!!)

Mom tried to get a picture of everyone in their costume (which lasted for maybe 4 seconds) but here is one of me and my friend Benjamin.

We also played “pin the nose on the pumpkin” (no blindfold needed:>)

And decorated pumpkins (um..but I think pretty much the moms did the decorating)

We also liked playing outside. Here is Jacob and Benjamin.

Jacob and I decided we also needed to fix the outside heater lamp.

After a long day of partying anyone would go crazy!!

OK Mom, I’m off to school!…What??? I have to wait four more years???

My new backpackMy new backpack

I’m getting pretty good at things like blocks and legos – they’re fun!

Check out my head stand! This is my new favorite thing to do…mom thinks I am going to break my neck (when is she going to just relax!).

I LOVE grocery shopping day! Why?!..because I like to unload the groceries for mom and then she gets to find them around the house (todays big hiding place..under the couch!). I also get a balloon from the nice people at the grocery store. This trip was a special one..not only did we shop for the week but for the Halloween Party I am having this week (hopefully I’ll wear my costume!)

Today I went to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch…I have been a little under the weather but that didn’t stop me from running around (mom and dad commented on how different this trip was from last year when I just sat there). This year I gave them a run for their money on taking any pictures of me…I was on the go. Speaking of pictures…the paparazzi were there again this year hanging outside of the patch…but no celebs while I was there so no camera action. I had fun running all over looking at the pumpkins (yes, we bought another $18.00 pumpkin), riding a HUGE rocking horse, hiding in a pumpkin house, and watching the older kids jump in the bouncy pumpkin (I was too young:< ). Despite having a runny nose and cough I had a great day.
