Mom and dad like taking me to this playground, and I have never been able to climb to the top of the slide until this week. Listen to how proud of myself I am when I get to the top: “I did it!!! I did it!!!” (I scream it every time I make it to the top)
The Bears play tonight at 5:00. Even though I won’t be there to advise Tedford tonight, I’ll be wearing my new Cal sweatshirt and rooting them on from home. Go Bears!

Mom and dad took me to the playground at the beach today. I played for a bout 30 minutes and then we had a snack on the beach. More on the playground visit later…

On Christmas morning, mom made a big breakfast. Even though they gave me one of almost everything, I only wanted to eat off of their plates. Here’s m stealing fruit from mom’s plate while at the same time checking out what I should steal from dad. It’s funny.
What a day! If I thought opening my presents was fun, I had no idea what was in store for me next. I made a huge mess of the entire house and got to play with all of my new toys all day. I was having so much fun that I did not want to take a nap. Mom finally made me go down, but not without a fight, and I only slept for 45 minutes because I was ready to play some more.

This one isn’t as exciting as me crashing a shopping cart, but it is fun. It’s me playing with one of my favorite new toys: the train set.
I’m sorry that you all couldn’t be at my house this morning. Boy did you miss out! I woke up and Santa had visited over night and brought me lots of presents!!! Mom and dad let me have my morning milk and wake up time in their bed this morning, so by the time I came downstairs I was totally awake. When I came down the stairs and sat in front of the tree, at first I didn’t know what to do. Then we started opening presents, and after a while I got used to things and started opening every present I could get my hands on. We had lots of fun. Later I’ll post more from the morning when I played with the toys!

Dear Drew,
I stopped by your place tonight to drop off some presents. You were already asleep. As you can probably tell from all the presents, you were very good this year. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the cookies,
Santa (aka “Danta!”)

Mom and dad said that as long as we can’t go home for Christmas this year, we might as well make the most of our Socal Christmas. That meant two trips to the beach for me today! What fun! The morning trip was especially warm, but when we went back at sunset it was starting to get cold so we only stayed for about a half hour. I’ll report back tomorrow with more about Christmas eve. Only one more night until “Danta!”
