It is raining again today. “Rainy day schedule” mom calls it (in her teacher world again) So what do we do…I like to look out the window and watch the rain and look for squrriels and made some art!

At lunch time I continue to work on my fork skills (yes, I am eating my sandwich with a fork…it makes lunch time more fun) Shh..I also shared some chips with mom:-) (Don’t worry I ate my apple and sandwich first)

I have a new friend! Rowan Mary Fitzgibbon was born last week (Monday, Jan 22),weighing in at 6 lbs 12 oz. Charlene from dad’s work is her mom. I’ll meet her later, but right now she is too little for me to hang out with, especially with my runny nose.

My new favorite game is to play chase with dad! He chases me all over the house and I scream and laugh…I can play forever – I only need breaks to catch my breath. You know who doesn’t love this game? Mom. She told dad how I like to play any time she wants to change my shirt, put my shoes on, go somewhere in the car…

I don’t know but seems to me that mom has gone crazy in her last weeks of pregnancy – she let me finger paint in the house today! For the first time I experienced the messiness of finger painting. I received an easel for Christmas and haven’t used it until today. After finger painting and wearing moms t-shirt as a smock (um..mom, it works for First graders but this thing is HUGE on me!) I then tested my crayons on the easel. I had a great time!

Dad and I want back to the beach this afternoon and he took this picture just to prove I wear clothes other than pajamas (though, it was my mom that changed me, and dad asked why since we were only going to the beach).

It’s warming up here again and we’re able to go back to the beach – dad was even able to wear short sleeves and sandles. We took my dump truck (which I love!) and I played for an hour in the sand. It was a fun morning – ok it may have been early afternoon but dad doesn’t want you to know he keeps me in my PJs all day!

Dad and I spent the morning hanging out away from the house. We were letting mom get some rest – what could be more restful than hanging out with me?! We went to the farmer’s market, then we walked over and played chase around the park overlooking the beach. I also liked looking down on the ocean and saying “wah wah.”

Wow we saw rain today! First time in a long time.
So what do you do on a rainy day…go to gym class! We have been taking a
break from gym class because of mommy getting big in the tummy but today she felt fine and wanted to let me play and get some energy out! So we dropped in and I had a blast!
We might go back next week..mom said she needs to go week by week since she is 36 weeks pregnant…so we’ll see!

Today I’m coming to you live as the youngest entertainment reporter in Hollywood! For those of you not in the biz like me, today is a big day in Hollywood – it’s Golden Globes. So what did I do? Headed down to the Beverly Hilton (for non-insiders, that’s the home of the annual award ceremony). I figured I would walk around a little and check things out, dig for gossip and see if I could score a gift bag. Well imagine my surprise when I really did end up in the middle of media madness and on the red carpet! Sure it was eight hours early, but mom was terrified that we were going to get busted by Golden Globe police out in force. Duh mom, they’re not going to bust a kid in a stroller!
