Drew likes doing tummy time with me!

I am getting really good at drawing pictures. My favorite things to draw are buses, cars, balloons, circles and flowers. I also try to spell my name. I am getting good at making “D” s.
Here is a car and bus I did on my own.

Yesterday Paige and I went to Benjamin’s second birthday party. Being from the OC, of course he had to throw a fancy pool party. It was tons of fun – I was pretty shy at first because I slept on the way to the party, but after a while I really started having fun in the pool and with the water table. Benjamin dumped water on my head, but I got him back. They also had two of my favorite foods at the party: rice & beans and cupcakes…YUM! While the boys played, Paige just lounged around on her beach towel, acting as if she didn’t even notice. Mom says she’s already a diva. Happy birthday Benjamin!!!

Paige and I went to the aquarium today with mom and dad. I’m practically a regular there now, and since it was dad’s first time, I took him from place to place and knew just where to go to see my favorites. My top three are: sharks, sea otters and sea lions. I also saw a scuba diver in one of the tanks today – that was cool!

We met up with Jacob and his mom Aneesa today in Long Beach. We played on the grass by the harbor and went to lunch:> I had fun seeing Jacob, we haven’t seen him since he moved to the O.C.

I am a big girl now. I am in my big car seat (still facing backwards)! I am no longer in my carrier!

Mom now puts me in the high chair to hang out while Drew eats lunch and dinner. I like it a lot, even though I can barely see over the top. Here are pictures of me from straight on, and one from above so you can see my face

Last night we went to my first concert in the park. Drew’s been to lots of them, but this was one of the first ones of the season, so it was my first time. Man was it fun! We had a picnic, and I got to play with grass for the first time. Drew really liked it too and for the first time realized that the music was coming from a singer, and not from the radio. All night he was saying “lady singing. she’s a gooood singer!”

Today we met up with our cousins Serafina and Nicholas and Aunt Jennifer at the Discovery Science Center. We were going to go to the zoo today but I still had a rash from the sunscreen reaction and I couldn’t wear sunscreen today. Mom drugged me with Benadryl and I was pretty tired during our visit today. But despite how I felt I still had a fun time with my cousins (so did Paige)!

Drew for the first time had a reaction from sunscreen. I can’t figure it out. We have been using the same sunscreen since he could wear sunscreen and today on his cheek, ear and neck he broke out into little red bumps. He told me it was itchy. It was exactly where I put the sunscreen. I washed him off and gave him some Benadryl. And of course the doctor says to test it first..but um we have been using it forever. Beach Blanket brand. Any suggestions or recommendations??!
