We spent the weekend with Gram and Pap while mom and dad got the new house ready for us to move in. They kept us really busy, we went to see Aunt Tracy’s barn, where we saw all sorts of animals and got to ride on the tractors! We also went to a pumpkin patch, and I picked out pumpkins for both me and Paige.

Well this morning we are off to the Bay Area!! We are really going to miss the beach (we went one last time yesterday) but we have great things awaiting us in the Bay Area.
There might be a little break from posts but we will update you as soon as we can!

Dad had a dinner with his work friends last night to say goodbye to Charlene (Rowan’s mom) – she got a new job. They let dad tag along too since we’re moving, and I went for a little bit with Paige so we could say goodbye to dad’s work friends. It was fun, but I left before dinner.

Today we met Alexandra! She is SO tiny!!!! I am so happy to have another girl friend (we can go shopping:>) while the boys..they can play golf:>

So of course for our last weekend it FINALLY rains here in So Cal. This was probably the third time it rained this year. On Saturday we decided to go to the Long Beach Aquarium (along with everyone else). Then we went to Wahoo Tacos in Manhattan Beach for dinner! On Sunday we went to Venice Park and the Beach. That evening we took a walk around the marina. We will miss it here but are excited for our new adventure!

We have three new friends!

Last week on Friday, Sept 14th Samuel Dennis Duffy was born to Tim and Jill Duffy. Dad went to high school with Tim! Sam was 7 pounds 15 ounces and has two brothers!!!!

This morning Alexandra Sarah Hughes (correct us if we spelled it wrong:>) was born at 6:51am. She was 6 pounds and 15 ounces and 18 inches long. She was born to Danica and Mark Hughes and brother, Benjamin. Mommy went to elementary, junior high and high school with Danica.

And dad’s friend Dina from work had a baby boy named Jack on Thursday – he’s 7 lbs 3 oz, is 20 inches long.

Welcome little ones and can’t wait to meet you!!!!

This is our last weekend here in So Cal…boy do we have big plans! We want to try to do all our favorite things before we leave! Paige and I are leaving on Wednesday with mommy to go up north and daddy is staying behind to help out the movers on Thursday. We are bummed we can’t watch the movers pack and load but mom and dad said we would be in the way. But we get to watch them unload at our new house!

I have been asking ALL week to go on the carousel one more time. So today mom took us to the Santa Monica Pier for the last time. Mom assured us that we would probably be able to find a carousel near our new home. I love to go “round and round”!

Today we went to our regular park in the marina and found a BIG surprise! A film crew was filming a TV show in the park (we have seen commericals and Nip Tuck filmed here too). They wouldn’t tell us what the name of the show was (but we saw a sign that said “WHM”) and all the cars were labeled with San Francisco signs..the police cars and SWAT car. We also saw actors dressed in POLICE jackets that said San Francisco on it. So we are guessing a cop show based in San Francisco!! (near our new home soon:>) I had fun watching the crew set up all the big equipment and watching all the big trucks!
