Mom has been busy getting ready for two showers she is hosting this weekend and we have been doing a lot of errands with her. So today she decided we needed to have a little fun. She found a place that has all these different jumpy houses. It has big slides you climb up and slide down, mazes and traditional jumpy houses. We had so much fun!!!!
As you all know I am very picky about what I eat. Mom has been trying to get me to eat crackers forever. She has tried every kind even fish crackers and I won’t touch them! Today I decided to eat a little of a Ritz cracker! Big day in the Nelson household:>
Let me start by saying this is our daily journal of the kids and I know later in life I will go back and read this so if you hate parents bragging about how “smart” their child is…then ignore this:>
This morning I was getting ready in the bathroom and Paige was getting impatient with me and the regular toys in the bathroom (moms hairbrush, clips) weren’t satisfying her. So I told her to go get her Elmo (thinking she knows what it is in front of her…but she won’t search for it) well she left the room and then 10 minutes later came back with her Elmo:> What a smartie:>
Lately Drew has been playing rocket launcher a lot outside and this weekend Paige decided to play too. She picked up the rocket walked over put the rocket on the launcher and the proceded to put her foot on the pump that launches the rocket and with a little pop the rocket launched (she does pay attention!) -she’s 14 months
Today we went to Borders to get some books on San Diego for our upcoming trip. As I am pushing the stroller down the travel isle Drew says “mom do you want a book on China?” I did my typical “mmm hmm” not really paying attention but then turned around and did find China travel books in front of me. “Drew how did you know they said China?!!!” He just looked at me like doesn’t
everyone know that. My little reader!
Ok…done bragging (and journaling for future amusement:>)
Last weekend we all went on a bike ride to the park – it’s something mom and dad do when I won’t take a nap because the bike puts me to sleep. I, of course, instantly fell asleep. I slept with my head on Drew’s shoulder…mom and dad found this cute, but Drew was super annoyed.

We are getting ready for a trip to San Diego. We are going to Legoland, the beach and Sea World. To get me ready for Legoland mom bought me some cool legos. I helped make some cool trucks! I can’t wait to go!!!! (mom said that she and her sister use to spend hours playing with legos when they were little and she is sure I will one day too:>)
My brother loves to put sunglasses on me (usually upside down) and then yell out “she’s a movie star”!!! Yet, I love when he does this…I let him put them on and then I cruise around the house wearing them (yes, I do bump into things). Mom says I am a ham:>
Sometimes we are too cute! Yesterday we were barbecuing in the backyard and mom and dad put music on. I started dancing, which isn’t that unusual for me, and then I grabbed Paige and started dancing with her. We were dancing all by ourselves and having the best time!

When we first moved in to our house (oct) dad and I planted (well..I actually threw a bunch of seeds) poppies and carrots (nice mix:>) in a planter we have on the side of the yard. All of the sudden my poppies have bloomed. I am very proud of them and take good care of them. GO California!!!! (I am told I can’t pick them:<)
