This weekend we headed to Gram and Paps house for some swimming and animal watching! Yes, all I really wanted to do was watch their cats and dog. I would get so excited whenever I would see them. I also loved swimming in their pool. Thanks for the great times!!!!!

As Paige mentioned we went to Gram and Paps this weekend for some fun in the sun and water. Not only was I a fish in the water but I would tell everyone “I can swim by myself” (meaning after 5 months of swim lessons I don’t need your help anymore MOM and DAD!). I had so much fun my eyes would be beet red at the end of the day from diving for rings all day. Thanks Gram and Pap for a great weekend!!!!

Dad stole this footage from Trevor’s site, so apologies to cross-over subscribers. Last Friday at the pizza party, Mary gave us TWO desserts each…we ended up going bananas.

This morning I decided eating breakfast with sun glasses on would be much more fun…I am getting back to my old self.

Went to the doctors this morning and I am doing okay. The doctor thinks the rash is a reaction to what Paige had. My stomach and gut are use to the virus but my skin is still very sensitive and reacted in a weird way to it. Luckily I am not itchy and it doesn’t seem to bother me…I guess it is better than throwing up or diaherra (like Paige). I am not contagious and it should be gone by Wed/Thurs. If not I go back to the doctor. Paige is doing better and is getting back to her old self (she was wearing shorts on top of her head today-mom got a picture but somehow lost it on the camera).
Also AWESOME AUNT COLLEEN came by after work today to help mom out. She is a brave soul to enter the sick house. Thank you for coming by and helping mom out…what a SPECIAL treat!!!! (again mom took a pic of us but somehow lost that on the card…something is up with the camera…as mom says “what now”!!!)
So we are on the road to recovery and hope soon to play with our friends again.
Thank you to all our family and friends for calling and checking in. Mom appreciates all your kindness (for those of you who don’t know, Dad is where history is taking place right now…the Democratic convention).

Well we started off the weekend great with a pizza party at Lizzy’s house on Friday night…Paige was still a little under the weather but mom and dad thought this was the tail end of it. Saturday rolls along and we head to the park to give mom a little break from her tough week (Paige was sick ALL week). That night Aunt Colleen comes over to babysit Paige and I because mom and dad are off to a Toad the Wet Sprocket concert in Saratoga (one of their favorite bands in college…and yes they are from Santa Barbara!!).

Mom and dad tell Aunt Colleen that Paige is asleep she should be no problem…however after they come back from a great concert they noticed Aunt Colleen had changed her shirt…Paige had woken up and threw up all over poor Aunt Colleen!!!! Mom and dad felt so bad for Aunt Colleen, they had thought Paige was over her bug. (They still feel REALLY bad Aunt Colleen!!! They owe you BIG time!).
Then this morning I wake up with a rash all OVER my stomach and back (it did not itch and I felt fine). So mom called the doctor right away and he told her to bring me in Monday morning unless I have other symptoms than the ER. My Gram and Pap were also coming to see us this Sunday (we were suppose to go there but with the two of us sick they came here to help out). Despite my rash I had a great time with them…Paige did okay. So tomorrow we are off to the doctor to see what is going on with Paige and I…hopefully next weekend will be much better!!!!

Drew and I went to the park with dad this morning. I’m still moving around a little slower than normal, but we had lots of fun!

Friday night we went over to Lizzy’s house for some pizza and ice cream. Can you believe that it was my first time to have an ice cream cone (I usually have ice cream in a bowl). Paige and mom didn’t stay long (paige is still a little under the weather and is going to bed early) but I stayed and played and even had a dance party with Lizzy and Trevor! Thanks for the great time friends!!!!

Of course when dad is away I get sick (he’s in LA). Tuesday morning I woke up with a bug….I threw up a lot and did not want to do anything. Mom was worried that I was pretty lifeless. Today some more throwing up and fun stuff out of the other end (during a nap and all OVER). I am doing a little better this afternoon…I want to eat a little and drink. My energy is coming back….hopefully I will be better by this weekend. Drew has been having all the fun…he gets to go over to Lizzys the past few afternoons to play while mom takes care of me. Soon I’ll get my old self back and will be ready for some new adventures!!!

There’s nothing better after a long day than taking a lemonade break! It’s one of our favorite things.
