What’s the best thing about Halloween? CANDY! As soon as we got home from trick or treating we dumped out the candy on the floor and went through it all. Drew counted it and said we had a hundred pieces! Once we finished counting it we both picked out a piece and got to eat it! Happy Halloween!

Paige and I went trick or treating tonight, and we had soooooo much fun!!! I’m really good at it, and for the first time, I really got into it. After every house I would announce “I got some candy!” and then I would run to the next house. Once Paige realized what I was up, she wanted to join me at every house…she’s not old enough to yell “trick or treat” but she would walk right up to the doors, grab the candy and put it in her bag, and then walk off. We love Halloween!!!

Maggie and Sophia had us over for a costume party before we all headed out for trick-or-treating tonight. We were a pretty cute bunch, but all anxious to hit the road and get some candy!

This morning I joined my class for our school Halloween parade (I usually don’t go to school on Fridays). I had a lot of fun! Teacher Robin was a pirate and teacher Slyvie was a cowgirl. It was fun to see all my friends dressed up! Tonight we are going to Maggies house for pizza and treats with a lot of our neighborhood friends and then off for some trick-or-treating! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Lizzy hosted a Halloween party for some of her friends this week. It was lots of fun to see all of our friends in costume, plus we got to play with the homemade play-doh, decorate pumpkins, and (my favorite) pinata! Hooray hooray and Happy Halloween!

Yesterday after school we headed to Turlock to visit Gram and Pap for the night. On our way home today we stopped at the Oakland Zoo for some fun. Again our favorites were the meerkats and the rides at the zoo. What fun!

This is a pretty typical morning at the Nelson household, we run around in our pajamas looking for some chaos to create…lately we’ve liked turning on our Halloween music and dancing.
