What’s the best part about going to Grandma and Grandpa’s (other than seeing my relatives)? The trampolines!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house the day after Thanksgiving. There were a lot of people there, so I was pretty shy most of the time – or at least didn’t want to stray too far away from my mom – but other than that, we had a lot of fun. My favorite part (no surprise) was staring at the dog through the window, but I also liked chasing my cousins around.

On Friday after thanksgiving, I met up with some of mom and dad’s motown friends at the park. We saw Alessandra, and we also got to meet Sam who actually lives pretty close to us and I hope we get to hang out with again soon. It was fun, but we were all running all over the place which made it more difficult for our parents to stand around and talk (who would want to do that anyway?) Not a lot of pictures, but we did have fun!

Thanksgiving is a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work! I woke up early to help get ready. I made the turkey (Gram helped some), I made the potatoes (I love to peel and mash things), and I even made the rolls (my specialty!)…with all the work, I didn’t have time to take a nap, so I was pretty grouchy by late afternoon. Mom and dad let me watch a DVD on my player, so I plopped down and ignored the world watching my cartoons.

We spent Thanksgiving day at Gram and Pap’s house. It was lots of fun, and as usual I spent a lot of time calling for the cats and dogs (and my mom). I got to wear my pretty thanksgiving dress, and make a pumpkin turkey with gram and Drew! Pa came too, and I did pretty good hanging out with him, even though I am usually scared of people I don’t see every day.

Today I met up with my ‘ol buddy Benjamin. It was raining, so instead of going to a park or somewhere outside, we met at the pet store. If you haven’t been to a pet store before, we highly recommend you check one out…there are a lot of cool things to see there, especially lots of fish! It was good to see Benjamin again, we always have a lot of fun together!

It was fun to see Alexandra at the Pet store today. We didn’t run around like the boys did, but we sure did like the fish! By the way, check us out with our moms last year at Christmas, aren’t we getting bigger (click here)

I’m in a big mom phase right now (ok, it’s lasted my whole life so far), and I always want to be around her. I also copy everything she does, from doing my hair to packing my purse. The other day when dad was supposed to be keeping me semi-occupied so mom could have just a few minutes to watch TV, I saw her and instantly tried to copy her laying on the couch to watch TV. Dad thought it was funny and took a few pictures of us.
