This morning we headed to Half Moon Bay with Trevor, Lizzy, Connor and Peter and of course their mommies and daddies. We had a great morning playing in the sand. What great friends and a great day!
(Peter and Connor not in pic…they are too cool for us:>)

Mom is keeping us busy and up to date with our swimming skills. This week we are starting our 2 day a week swim lesson marathon till April. Drew is now a level 2 swimmer on Wednesday and Fridays and I am taking a Mommy and Me swim classes with mom on Wednesday and Thursdays. This morning was our first class for the week. Drew was first and did a GREAT job. He didn’t need to use a bar bell for help at all today. He swam straight from the wall out to the teacher. He had a great time. I was very anxious for my class and wanted to dive right in. My class was after Drews. I also got to wear flippers which I thought was SO cool. I started kicking right away and amazed my teacher. She said I was a fish already! You would think we would be cold taking swim lessons in the winter but our pool has a big dome on it to keep the heat in and they they take it off when it gets warmer outside. If you notice in the pic of Drew it is a little misty from the steam.
We’ll keep you updated on our swim lessons:>

A lot of exciting things happened at school today…
First: it was the first day I wore underwear to school without my mom being there as a helper. I am now doing both deeds in the toilet and keeping my underwear clean ALL day long:>
Second: it was SNOW DAY today. A big truck came to school today and brought us a lot of snow for us to play in. We got to wear our snow boots and mittens. It was SO much fun (mom didn’t get a pic because this was during the school day and she had gym class with Paige:<).
Third: my teacher sent home a progress report on all the things I am learning and have mastered so far in school. I did GREAT!
Here are some of the things I have mastered:
Recognize ALL letter sounds
Knows names of ALL the letters in random order
Knows ALL colors
Knows all shapes
Recognizes patterns
Can count to 29
Knows spatial relationships (in/out, on/off, etc..)
Matches numerals to the correct number of objects, counts in 1 to 1 correspondence
Great social/emotional/listening and verbal skills
Things I need to continue to work on are:
Participating in group discussions (you know me..I watch first and then participate:>)
Handling my scissors better
Know where my heel and wrist are
Count up to 100
Other than that I am doing great!!! What a BIG day!

Again, this is my scrapbook and the fastest way for me to record something I want to remember, so this may be too mushy for you or you may find humor or relate:>
It seems like every evening after dinner is when Paige and Drew decide to play together nicely for about an hour. Today they were playing in their kitchen area with Paige’s dolls and I heard Drew say to Paige “honey, are you poopy?” and Paige replied “yea” Drew then said “ok…I’ll change you”. Then it was silent and I heard Drew say “hmm..mommy usually does this maybe this is a job for mommy”. I look down the hallway and Paige is laying on the ground (don’t worry diaper and pants still on) and Drew just walked away. Too bad, I was thinking this is great, I can train him to help with diapers:>
Also, every night I tell Paige I love her when I put her down in her crib. She usually just blows me a kiss, but tonight she said “love you” back to me and just smiled:> Heart melter:>

Lizzy came over on Saturday because her parents had just bought some new furniture, and I overheard her dad ask my dad to help move it. Well that gave me an idea! Lizzy and I went off to play, and by the time my parents rounded the corner in the hallway, we had already moved all of Paige’s furniture. When mom said we needed to “clean up the mess” I corrected her and said “actually, it’s not a mess. we moved furniture.”

We went to Aunt Colleen’s today to spend the morning with her and Neil and make breakfast. Drew and I made waffles, and then we played with all of her toys! It was lots of fun.

Lately Paige and I have really been into talking on the phone. Today Gram called to talk and I talked to her on the phone for about 15 minutes. Of course whatever I do Piage has to do. She just says “Hi and Bye” or presses buttons:>

After mom uses her hairspray in the morning I take off with it and pretend to spray my hair too:>

The rain continues today so mom thought we would head out on some errands. First, pick up dads shirts from the cleaners, then Starbucks for mom (where Paige and I split a donut), then Trader Joes and then to our favorite toy store (and a popular place on rainy days) Cheeky Monkey!!! Mom found some beads Paige and I could do at home during this rainy day and I have already made 4 bracelets (not all for me:>). Paige has not tried them yet because she has a cold and wanted to take a nap.
