Sorry for the lack of posts….but last Monday morning dad came dad with the stomach flu and then strep throat so mom has been busy taking care of everyone this week and no time for posts! Don’t worry mom is off to Sonoma tomorrow morning for Aunt Colleens bachlorette party for the weekend and gets time to relax and have a massage. Dad is better now and is able to take care of us over the weekend. Poor mom took care of two kids with the stomach flu the week before and now dad…she somehow has stayed strong and hasn’t gotten sick and wants to get thru this weekend without getting sick!!!! Hopefully both mom and dad will find some time this weekend to put up some pics and videos of me swimming…I am quite the master these days!!!!

Next Thursday is my last day of my first year of preschool! I think mom is more sad than I am (she is trying to explain the whole summer break thing but I think I might get that later in my life:>). My teacher did a final evaluation of the things I should know or should work on and I aced it! I know all the names and sounds of the alphabet, can count to 29, recognize all shapes, colors and have great motor and spatial relation skills. My teacher wrote “Drew is so easy going. He gets along with all his classmates. He is a very caring and respectful little boy.” Mom is lucky and gets to help on the last day of school and I think there might be some tears (moms tears that is). I have been really lucky and had a great teacher this year and know I will next year (one more year of preschool before I am off for kindergarten)!

This summer I have two days a week of swim lessons and one day of soccer…mom plans to have many days at the pool, zoo, beach, and aquarium. We also have Aunt Colleens and soon to be Uncle Neils wedding in July coming up so stay tuned for many summer adventures!!!

Before being hit by the flu again (for poor dad) we had a BBQ on Sunday night with some close friends/neighbors for us and mommy and daddy. We had a great time and look forward to many more!

Today we went to see Aunt Tracy ride at a horse show. She went over jumps on a horse, and I cheered! After the jumping we went back to the barn and I got to geed the horse an apple. It was awesome.

Run for it!!!! What’s a Saturday night at the Nelson household look like? Well, pretty much like this. Drew and I took showers and then ran full speed around the house in our underwear and diaper. Dad was letting mom take a rest since she deals with us almost every other night, so it was a bit chaotic. Oh…I also pooped in the shower. Saturday nights are the best!

I went to my first horse show today. It was a little scary at first, but I got used to it after a while and started pointing out every horsey, and waving to them. At one point I got so excited that I even nayed like a horse.

For some reason, lately the gardners have totally scared me. I insist on being held, and do so with a terrified look on my face.

We started this weekend in a good mood! First thing Friday morning I ran into Paige’s room and we had a tickle / wrestle party on her bed! Happy start of summer everyone!

Dad took me to the park this weekend for some 1:1 time. He took a few pictures, and thinks I’m cute even when I’m licking the walls of the playhouse.
