Seven hours of driving later, and Paige and I were ready to hit the park! (we did pretty good on the way down, except for Paige’s 15 minute tantrum, which mom and dad ignored) We spent about four hours in the Magic Kingdom today, and plan to spend a lot more tomorrow. No time to go through the pictures yet, but here are a few of the highlights of our videos…

That’s it…we crossed off the last number of days till Disneyland! We are leaving tomorrow morning bright and early and can’t wait to see Mickey and Minnie and ride all the rides! We will try to update you throughout our trip but we may be busy. Stay tuned for the many adventures of our first trip to Disneyland and California Adventure Park!

Over the weekend I grabbed dad’s flip camera without him knowing it and took it out back…here’s what life is like from my perspective without the parents around.

Today mom came to help in my classroom. She got to see all the new things we do this year. She was very impressed by all the work we do! I think she was tired by the end of the day…but she had fun watching me during “work time”, “circle time”, “free time” and outside play time. I think she might need a nap today:>

Tonight we had some special dinner guests…Aunt Colleen and Uncle Neil:> We had so much fun with them…we even got to stay up past our bed time to play with them! But guess what…next weekend they will be really close to us! They bought a house about 5 minutes away from us so we will get to see (or bug:>) them ALL the time!!! We are so excited and tonight for the first time Paige did not cry when they came to the door (she usually thinks they are here to babysit us and then cries)! Thanks for the fun night and we can’t wait to see your new house!!

Here we are putting my shoes on Aunt Colleen…and yes that is Uncle Neil in the back playing with my Tinker Toys. He was also very excited to see my Lite Brite…we can play that next time Uncle Neil…one thing at a time:>

Today I started my new session of gymnastics…not only did I move up a level to the 2.5-3 year olds (I am such a big girl now) but I am the only girl in the class. Mom didn’t really notice until another mom pointed it out…I think she didn’t notice because I am actually more daring and adventurous than most of the boys (I am not the cautious, don’t want to get hurt girl…I go for it). I had a great time and did really well listening to my teacher and following directions for the games we played! I also have a neighborhood friend in my class, Jack:>
Mom will take pics next time…she forgot the camera.

As Paige mentioned we had our annual neighborhood street dance this past weekend. My favorite parts were riding on the fire truck, dancing, cake walk (and WINNING a cake)!!!

Every year our neighborhood has a street dance. We block off one street and party all night long. This year was a Hawaiian theme. They had jumpy houses, animal balloon makers, magic show, rides on the fire truck, cake walk, face painting and best of all dancing!
My favorite part of this year was painting my finger nails, getting my hand painted and getting a balloon flower!

Here I am with mom and Drew but admiring my finger nails-that I painted myself!

Sometimes Drew and I are too funny. We both like to grab the camera from mom and dad when they are taking pictures of us so that we can take our own pictures. On Sunday, Drew grabbed the camera from dad and took pictures of me…I decided to strike a pose. I’m such a diva.
