One of my favrorite things to do is play tinker toys with dad. I had been asking him for weeks if we could build the ferris wheel again, and last week we finally did. I’m old enough to do it by myself now, with direction from my dad of course. He took some pictures and shot some video of me, but this is just a small bit of how much I actually worked on the ferris wheel.

Tinker Toys!
Tree decorating
We put up the tree today, and Drew and I are responsible for decorating it. When we first started decorating, I took an ornament out of the box without mom and dad looking and dropped it, and it broke. After that, with every ornament I hung, I said “no break.” Pretty low bar for success, I know, but I sure had fun doing it!
Christmas Decorating
Paige and I helped mom all day with the Christmas decorations. We had so much fun helping, and when we were all done with the tree we decided to take a break on the sofa.
Thanksgiving Cooks
One of our favorite things to do this Thanksgiving was to help cook. We’re really good at it and especially like making the potatoes because there are so many steps.
Playing with our cousins
Probably the best part about going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for holidays is that we get to play with our cousins. We have so much fun playing together! This morning we woke up the entire house by playing hide and seek! Se you guys soon!
Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot!
This morning we did the neighborhood Turkey Trot to get us ready for Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun, and we got ribbons and a trophy! Off to Grandma’s to see our cousins! Happy Thanksgiving!
Mornings with Mickey
Every morning I get to watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Goofy is my favorite, but I like all of the characters. At the end I wave goodbye and say “byyyyye Mickey.”
Big Game Tailgate!
Every year, I like to go to the big game tailgate party (see 2007 and 2008), and this year was no different! It was fun to go on Saturday to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa and see everything that happens…I even saw the Stanford band up close, but told dad that we like the Cal band better. Then we came home and watched the game on TV and made nachos as we cheered the Bears to victory. Go Bears!
Move over Michael Phelps
This morning I graduated from level 3 in swim class to the next level “Freestyle”! I have been working really hard to master level 3! Mom was so proud her and Paige stood up and starting clapping really loud (for winter we are in a dome and everything echos) and went “woo hoo” when she knew I passed the last step in moving to freestyle. So watch out Michael Phelps I am catching up!!!
Pap visit
Mom spent the day with Gram and Aunt Tracy today, so Pap came to hang out with us. We were super excited for him to come, and when he got here we read books, played tickle me, watched some football and then we took him to our favorite hamburger place for milkshakes!
