January 2010

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. Mom and dad have been busy staying up with me and catering to my feverish needs. Yes, fever…I got as high as 104.3 on Tuesday night!!! Since Monday morning I have been battling high fevers till Thursday morning…then lower ones till now. This morning I developed a rash and mom came to the conclusion I have roseola. This virus makes you have a high fever for several days and then break out in a rash at the end of the fever (Drew had this twice when he was little). No other symptoms. I even went to the doctor on Wednesday and she told mom not to really worry until my fever gets to 106 or other symptoms come up (mom thought 104 was bad enough!). But I am on a mends and need to get my rest because next weekend we are heading back to the snow with our friends and I don’t want to miss this trip! I’ll keep you updated on my progress and hope I can attend my first swim lesson without mom this week (I am sure there will be pics of that):> Fingers crossed this is the end of my sickness and mom and dad can get some rest and post some wonderful events in our lives:>

Paige and I went puddle jumping today around the neighborhood. We got soaked and had to empty out our boots a few times, but we had lots of fun and it was nice to get out.

It has been raining ALL week! What do we do on rainy days…DRESS UP! Paige got a lot of dress up clothes for x-mas and we have been trying them all on. For some reason dad asked mom to pull out my old Halloween costumes (pirate, doctor). Why would he want that??!! Don’t I look beautiful in Paige’s dresses? :>

Had to build our snow man and snow girl. We forgot carrots!!! Next time!!!

We had to stop to take in the view. I rode with Gram while Pap drove us and daddy drove mommy and Paige. Thanks Gram and Pap for a great adventure!!!

Had to get the family pic in the snow:>

We quickly learned last year that snow mobiling is an activity we want to do every year! We had so much fun speeding thru the snow and then stopping to build a snow man and have a snow ball fight:> (This is in Bear Valley)

We went to the snow with Gram and Pap this weekend, and one of the things we did was go inner tube sledding at the snow park. We had tons of fun go down the hill over and over. Check out our video.

The time has come for mom to enroll me for kindergarten for this upcoming fall! Yesterday Mom attended a kinder orientation at the school I will attending. She came back to tell me how much I am going to LOVE my new school next year! She told me all about the classrooms, the playground, what I will be learning and how excited she is for me (also mentioned something about wanting to work there someday:>). Mom will sign me up in February…so stay tuned for upcoming kinder stories, but for now I need to finish my preschool year. I am sure I will have a lot more stories of preschool so stay tuned!

NOTE: Poor mom has had a lot of changes this week…she couldn’t believe she is already attending a kinder meeting (I guess I am growing up too fast??!!) and no longer participating in Paige’s dance class…her babies are growing up!!!!

Since I will be turning 3 next month my Mommy and Me dance teacher told mom I was ready to try the 3 year old class without mommy! The 3 year old class is not only ballet but tap too! I was SO EXCITED to get my new tap shoes and try them out this morning. Mom was a little worried (and I think sad) what I would do without her. BUT I did GREAT! I listened and followed my teacher and waited for my turn. I LOVED it and can’t wait to go back. I am such a BIG girl now!!
